Meet the Band
Animal Farm is your kid's next favorite band! Led by "Farmer Dave" Ladon, their genre-hopping catalog of original music explores themes of social and emotional learning, community, and self-expression through the eyes of our furry, feathered, scaly, and shell-dwelling friends.
Blending music, educational comedy, and audience participation, they have shared high energy performances with tens of thousands of children and families at parks, libraries, schools, birthday parties, festivals, museums and other cultural institutions across the US. In addition to performing extensively, the band produces "Farmer Dave and Friends" a short-form series produced in partnership with PBS12. The show features music, sketch comedy, and educational videos. It is broadcast on PBS stations covering 80% of the state of Colorado, and is available at PBS.org

Reviews
“We were so grateful and excited to have Animal Farm at RMPBS KIDS’ Be My Neighbor Day event for the second year in a row—it’s becoming an annual tradition now! David and his band get kids and families clapping, moving, dancing, and thinking in new ways about the world around them. I loved his song about how different sounds can make you feel happy, scared, sad, etc.—such a great way to get kids thinking about music in creative new ways! I’d recommend Animal Farm for ANY child-centered event, they are so easy and fun to work with!”

Animal Farm was such a fun show, with something for everyone – humor for the parents and consistent activity and engagement for the kids. We loved having this program at LTAC!
